A
MLS challenges
us to examine the fundamental principles by which we live. Rather
than accepting traditional male and female stereotypes; or rebelling
against them; we are confronted with thinking for ourselves,
redefining who we are and what we stand for. In a rigorous
environment of honesty, illusions vanish like fog in the morning
sunshine. We can see ourselves; and the world; with new clarity and
perspective. Your reward is authenticity, and full ownership of your
masculinity as you define it, an opportunity you will be presented
with throughout the ten days of the seminar. In MLS, you'll discover
your potential for leadership. Working hand in hand with a team of
other men, learning to make decisions under pressure, to build
consensus, to balance the needs of the group with those of the
individual. You'll bring forth a natural ability to inspire and
motivate others to action, and to communicate ideas clearly and
forcefully. Drawing on cultures both ancient and modern, through
symbolism that speaks to us at both the conscious and unconscious
levels, MLS empowers us to transcend the past. As we resolve inner
conflicts, and clear up confusion, we integrate all aspects of
ourselves at a higher level of wisdom and understanding. Like PSI
VII, MLS is primarily conducted at PSI Seminar's High Valley Ranch
Educational Center near Clearlake Oaks, California.

MLS is about
leadership. But what is leadership? What does it take to lead? What
is positive leadership, or negative? What is the best way to lead?
The most effective ways? You'll be given opportunity to lead and to
follow.
MLS is about
being empowered, and about being whole. Specifically, we define
wholeness from the unique male perspective. Rather than denying
aspects of our humanity, we embrace all within us. Male/female,
intro/extrovert, fight/flight, yin/yang, light/dark. The point is
that MLS endorses balance and acceptance of our full selves as men,
empowering us to "be" who we need to "be" for the people and
purposes we care most about. MLS leads us towards wholehearted
acceptance of all facets of ourselves as men. As we learn to
celebrate our masculinity, we experience renewed appreciation and
respect for the "opposite" sex. New possibilities for male-female
relationships open up.
MLS is about
commitment. During this challenging 10 day course, you will get to
see "commitment" lived-out in spectracolor, loud and clear - you may
like what you see and you may not. You may redefine what commitment
really is to you. You will see the real-life results of being
committed. What it gets you - the benefits, the rewards - and the
costs when you choose to be committed to someone, or something.
Blending intellectual and physical activities in indoor and outdoor
settings, MLS demands excellence from every participant. Over ten
days, you'll be faced with obstacles and challenges that seem
impossible to overcome; and you'll win! You will know, that you
know, that you know, that nothing can keep you from accomplishing
what you are committed to.
MLS is about
"Vision". About having one and making it happen. None of the world's
greatest leaders operated without this key ingredient in place. In
fact, not much of anything can occur without someone having a vision
to have it be so. What is your vision for your life? Is it clear? Is
the way you're living supporting it actually happening? During MLS
you will be given ample time to explore this integral aspect of your
life, both as a man and a leader in your life. Does the vision you
have inspire you to passion? Is it grand enough, exciting enough? Do
you care enough about seeing it realized to do the work of
transformation? If it doesn't, you'll get the opportunity to create
one that does.
